Dragomir Saric

I am pleased to announce that I will be spending the 2025–2026 academic year at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) in Princeton, NJ. This appointment is generously supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the PRIMES program, and I look forward to engaging in research and collaboration within the IAS community.

I am a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Queens College and a faculty member in the Mathematics Program at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.

My research is in the field of geometric analysis, specifically quasiconformal maps, hyperbolic geometry and Teichmuller theory. My papers have been published in various academic journals. My research has been supported by National Science Foundation, Simons Foundation and PSC-CUNY.

I also have over 20 years of teaching experience ranging from the calculus sequence for undergraduates to the advanced Ph.D. courses.
